Moa Attack - Te Papa Museum

This is me being attacked at the Te Papa Museum by a now extinct Moa. It never should have attacked me!

This is an example of a Maori temple. The Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand (Aotearoa).

Beehive - Wellington

This is the building from which the New Zealand Parliament makes the lives of all New Zealand citizens better.

Chimp - Hamilton Zoo

This chimp was hilarious. He was an old timer and he just sat in the shade while the young chips tired themselves out. It was very hot that day!

Lemur - Hamilton Zoo

These animals were really shy and it was difficult to get a picture.

Rhinos - Hamilton Zoo

The North Island was experiencing a drought when we went to the zoo. The rhinos seemed to be feeling it most--not a lot of mud to roll around in.

Zebras - Hamilton Zoo

My camera does not have a good telephoto feature. This is as close as I could get to the Zebras. The Hamilton Zoo was quite impressive. I would say it rivalled the Toledo Zoo.
